“I am not a kitten!” Isil pretty much yelled at the candid. He wasn’t a kitten at least he didn’t think so.

“Yes you are a kitten I mean you don’t look like you could be any older then twelve. What are you even doing in this place?” The candid replied curtly.

“I’m 14 and I’m here because I can be.” Isil said as he glared and let out a quiet hiss. He was completely pissed off now. “Ohh forget it you aren’t worth the time I’m taking to talk to you.” He said as he walked off.

What Isil didn’t know was that this candid he was destined to meet. The candid watched him walk off. He never even got to learn his name. Though by the chatter from the other patrons the boy was named Isil. He would have to remember that. His own name was Tyram and he was here to learn the lay of the town before his people got there. He was relaxed. He remained in the gambling house as he watched the young Felidae. For reasons unknown he felt that he had to get the younger male out of the town before it was attacked.

Isil continued what he was doing and trying to gain a little more cash. He was unaware of the other male watching him. He was happy to just do what he did best. When the gambling house closed he snuck up to the attic. He looked around the small room he had there.

A mattress on the floor with tattered sheets, a small bed side table with no legs, a lamp that didn’t work, and a drawer from an old dresser was all that could be seen in the room. His clothes looked fairly nice considering he tried to keep them good knowing it were best if they were somewhat nice. He sighed as he got changed into old washed out pajamas and crawled into bed. He curled up under the sheets and soon relaxed and went to sleep.

When the next day came he was met outside by Tyram who had been keeping watch.  Tryam felt that he needed to warn the Felidae and get him out of the town before the army got there and things turned in to an all-out battle.

“Hey we got off on the wrong foot yesterday. My names Tyram and I’m not going to hurt you.” Tyram said to Isil as he looked down at him.

Isil glared at him and hissed slightly. He wasn’t all that sure of if he really could trust Tyram and he definitely didn’t trust Candid’s in general.

“Isil.” He told him simply and coldly as he walked past. He was dressed as always in a simple white t shirt and a pair of black jeans.

Isil wanted Tyram to leave him alone he didn’t trust anyone anymore and he shouldn’t. People could be far too uncaring and cruel when he trusted them. He wasn’t going to just let the Candid tell him what to do or even be nice to him. He just wanted to be left alone while he went to go get some breakfast. Tyram sighed and followed the Felidae without being seen. He knew he couldn’t be seen by Isil and he didn’t want to be seen. If he was caught then he knew the Felidae could get him arrested or worse executed.
